Next Generation Ship Repair
Next Generation Shiprepair is a multi-purpose shipyard in Lauwersoog, where maintenance, repair and conversion are carried out under one roof. With all disciplines in-house, we work efficiently and to the highest standards, from engineering through to execution.
The shipyard is designed with efficiency and continuity in mind. The ship lift provides quick and easy access to the vessel, while dedicated teams and clear processes ensure quality and safety. This allows us to maintain control over scheduling, lead times and results.
Sustainability is an integral part of our approach. By focusing on reuse, extending service life and developing smart solutions, we help keep ships operational for longer.

Strategically located on the Wadden Sea
The Next Generation Shiprepair yard is located in Lauwersoog, right on the Wadden Sea. It is accessible from both the Wadden Sea and the North Sea without having to pass through locks or under bridges. This makes the yard easily accessible for vessels operating in the northern Netherlands and across northern Europe.
The location provides short approach and departure routes, enabling efficient planning and operations. Combined with having all disciplines under one roof, this helps minimise downtime and maintain a clear overview throughout the process.
